YouTube API Services Privacy Policy
Rough To Gems uses YouTube API Services through an internal business application called Rough To Gems PowerShell Uploader. This application is used only by Rough To Gems to manage media for its own YouTube channel and e-commerce product catalogue.
Use of YouTube API Services
The application uses the YouTube Data API to upload Rough To Gems product videos, create and manage playlists, assign videos to playlists, set video titles and descriptions, set video privacy status, upload custom thumbnails, and obtain YouTube video identifiers and URLs for use on corresponding Rough To Gems product pages.
The application accesses only the YouTube account and channel authorised by Rough To Gems through Google OAuth 2.0. It does not request or store a user's Google or YouTube password.
Information accessed and stored
The application may access YouTube account and channel information required to identify the authorised channel and perform authorised YouTube actions. It may also access information relating to videos, playlists and other YouTube resources managed through the application.
OAuth authorisation tokens required to maintain the authorised connection may be stored locally on the authorised Rough To Gems computer. These credentials are protected using Windows user-level encryption and are used solely to authenticate authorised YouTube API requests.
Rough To Gems does not sell YouTube API data or provide it to third parties for advertising, profiling or unrelated purposes. Information is shared with Google and YouTube only where necessary to use YouTube API Services and carry out the actions authorised by Rough To Gems.
Use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Access granted to the Rough To Gems PowerShell Uploader can be revoked at any time through the Google Account security permissions page.
If access is revoked, Rough To Gems will stop using the associated authorisation credentials and delete stored authorised YouTube API data that is no longer required, in accordance with YouTube API Services policies.

Use of features provided through YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
